Xmas card making is fun!

i had fun doing this card from the recent card making mag!! I used my little mouse stamp and glossy accents. On the front in the corner i have a push button to play "twinkle little star". LOVED making these - but they took VERY VERY long! lol.

Gift Card and Bon Bon Displays!

It was so much fun making these stands to hold "gift tags", Brooches, or any little sales items!!! I love them!

Leather Flower Pins

Using scrap pieces of leather and running them through my cuttlebug i fashioned these pins! Coloring on them with promarkers. Great fun and good use of scraps!

Recycled Coffee Cup Holders!

Using old sweaters, vintage lace, and a stamped image on recycled canvas i sewed up these coffee cup sleeves! My girls said they could also be a cool wrist cuff!!

Well i completed an album for my friends wedding this past weekend, and of course, finished it at the very last minute and failed to get photos of it!! So i've instead posted a photo that Angie took of one of my felted pieces! She's such a good photographer!

Fairy Chimneys

The "fairy chimneys" of Capadoccia Turkey were so amazing, apparently left years and years ago from volcano's they have been "scratched out" inside and used now for dwellings and hotels and whatever. What an enchanting place it was to visit! WE went to an underground city that went 8 levels underground!! Kinda spooky!

What happened to time?

Was it really March when i was last on here?! How did that happen!

our family trip to Greece and Turkey was amazing and included visiting all around the UK to loved ones as well!! Since then i've taken a felting upholstery course in New Hampshire and just now have returned from the Philippines where it was super humid and 35 degrees+ but had a lovely time at my friends wedding and (of course) went on the honeymoon! I was so intrigued by everything i saw in my travels, especially in Turkey, as you can see the carpets, textiles were amazing! Currently we are developing property and building a store!! It's been an exciting 2010 so far! I feel very blessed.

Celebrating Spring

Spring is here so early this year and i'm in the mood!! I purchased gorgeous glass flowers at the Tucson Bead show and i've been making a "Spring 2010" flower collection! These are the brooches.

New Bangles

In the evenings i'm now painting bangles! I have a lot of wood bangles that i plan to paint - it's so relaxing and it feels just like i'm coloring! This isnt yet fully complete as i have to add some more dots and then some sparkle and spray finish.

Viva La Mexico!!

We walked to Mexico!!! And i actually purchased the hand painted sink that i've wanted for years!!! LOL Francis had to carry it over the border - it was wrapped and taped up in a dog food packaging!!! The border patrol called the agriculture inspector!! OMG so funny. Cant wait to redo the bathroom now!!
