Visit to Niagara Falls

Had a lovely week in Ontario seeing lots of friends relatives and sights! Finally getting down to some felting "orders" for a wedding in Wales next month!! I'm almost sold out of pieces at the local gallery so i've got lots of felting work ahead of me!

New Career?

Two of my bestest friends in the world. We did a surprise dance on stage during the reception complete with smoke machine!! We performed "Dancing Queen" from Mama Mia! It was so much fun!

The Wedding!

My daughter designed and made her own wedding dress as well as the bridesmaid (3) dresses. I felted her a wrap as it was COLD in the mountains in April!

Boot Sale!

Having a garage (boot) sale tomoro and then off to Vancouver for a few days. We will return just in time for the "Star Belly Jam" music festival!!!!!!!!!! Time is flying by! I'm 'thinking" of all the stuff i want to make, after visiting my cousin i have even MORE ideas now!!!!!!

On Honeymoon!

I'm away from blogging once again! My daughters wedding in Banff was absolutely gorgeous - it was a week long celebration allowing everyone to get to know each other very well. It was wonderful. Now i am honoured to be asked to travel to Disneyland to meet up with the honeymooners for their last 4 days of honeymoon!!!!!

Woman Pin

i made this last night for a friend for her birthday!! I was very happy with my first "wild woman pin"! My cousin Maureen bot me the book last July and i have been wanting to make these since then.

felt earrings

These earrings are difficult to see - i've got to get better with my photos! I'm trying to find a use for scraps of felting by using them with beads and fibres to make earrings.

Felted Leaves

I've been using my new embellisher to make felted leaves!

spring wrap

This could either be a wall hanging or a wrap. The inside layer is made with silk fibres, then over top is silk chiffon and then merino wool, all felted together. It is quite heavy and would be very warm.

From Disney to San Diego Zoo

We had a wonderful trip!

Disneyland

I love Disneyland. We decided to take our 2 youngest girls on a family trip to Disneyland and San Diego Zoo. It was a wonderful trip. When i'm at Disneyland, the creativity that is involved in even just dreaming up how to create such a fantasy land amazes me. I could just sit in the middle and feel the energy spark me!
