Compassion Broach

I'm hooked on doing these now! I've seend some pics where she is wearing blue, sometimes blue inside red and sometimes blue outside, so i'm going to try that next.

Mary

When i was in Russia there were Mary Icons everywhere. Then when my cousins took us to a wonderful village called Lincoln we went into the cathedral and i saw the icon again. I have attached the photo of the icon from the cathedral that has inspired me to create this pin. The face is polymer clay that is dusted with perfect pearls. I've machine felted the body and embellished with sequins and beads. I'm in love.

Clay faces and pendants

I'm working with polymer clay to come up with some faces for the women pins and then i started to make just pendants! I'm using the pearls pigments to color them, they look like porcelin afterwards!

Soldering

I am getting better at soldering!! My youngest daughter Gelly is working on digital art for me to encase in my soldering! Trying to prepare for my upcoming Xmas shows!

Visit to Niagara Falls

Had a lovely week in Ontario seeing lots of friends relatives and sights! Finally getting down to some felting "orders" for a wedding in Wales next month!! I'm almost sold out of pieces at the local gallery so i've got lots of felting work ahead of me!

New Career?

Two of my bestest friends in the world. We did a surprise dance on stage during the reception complete with smoke machine!! We performed "Dancing Queen" from Mama Mia! It was so much fun!

The Wedding!

My daughter designed and made her own wedding dress as well as the bridesmaid (3) dresses. I felted her a wrap as it was COLD in the mountains in April!
